Meet Our Team

Nurturing, knowledgeable and community-oriented are just a few words that describe Sheree Wanner, president of Camelot Gardens & Gifts, Inc. For over 25 years, Sheree has owned and operated this award winning garden center that spans five acres.  Complementing her continuing Garden Center Management conferences workshops, are her twenty years in the health care profession with a BS in Nursing and a Masters in Health Care Administration. Truly, the former medical health care professional has found her niche in fostering the business and team of Camelot Gardens and Gifts, Inc.  “I absolutely love trying to make people feel special either through their shopping experience, the product I try to buy at markets, or just being their friend.” Stepping into the store is evidence of her outlook.

Sheree has been a 20-year member of the Montrose Altrusa International Foundation, a member of Montrose PEO, 16-year Chamber of Commerce Board Member, Chamber of Commerce Member, and actively involved in several non-profits.  On the personal side, Sheree is a proud mother of three grown children and is totally committed to continuing to be a very active part of their lives. They are the pride of her life. Sheree also enjoys skiing, travel, some good ol’ ‘chick-flicks,’ fishing, and outings with her friends. And of course…lovingly tending to Queen ‘Daisy’!

“What type of fertilizer is best for my roses?” Just one of the many questions General Manager Trina Donahue either answers and or refers on to her well-educated staff on a daily basis. Trina has become a household one-name-wonder in and around the Montrose community. After spending just a few minutes with her, you will readily understand why. Trina knows and understands every aspect of the business from products, plants, and perennials to all other departments. House calls and on-site calls are all but a part of areas of expertise and responsibility.  

Trina’s personal mission for this growing business is that “Camelot Gardens & Gifts, Inc offer a superior product selection combined with knowledgeable staff with a dedication to excellent customer service”. She makes this happen with her on-going commitment to chemical training and diagnosis skills educational seminars. Looking for some annual color in your yard or the perfect plant for that bright corner in your house? Just ask our greenhouse gal Kayla. As a Grand Island, New York native, she grew up surrounded by houseplants and beautiful gardens provided by her mother. Although the climates slightly differ, her knowledge continues to expand as she gets to world with some of the best here at Camelot!  

Being a gardener and plant lover, Kayla can help with both extensive knowledge, as well as personal experience. Chances are she owns that houseplant or has grown that vegetable! In her spare time she enjoys going on adventures with her husband and dog, spending time with her pets, and catching the new episode of Judge Judy.

Hi! My name is Chardale and I’m the nursery manager here at Camelot Gardens. I’m a western Colorado native so I’m very familiar with the trees and shrubs rated for our area. I grew up on a peach orchard in Palisade and I love to be outdoors. 

I love being a mom to two wonderful boys and now being a Nana! When I’m not at Camelot I’m at home tending my own garden, or on our pig farm in Olathe irrigating and growing no-till crops. I also love to travel and take any chance I get to see the world.
